Now offering the National Rifle Association’s award-winning crime prevention and personal safety seminar, Refuse To Be A Victim®.
Developed in response to nationwide requests for crime prevention seminars, Refuse To Be A Victim teaches methods to avoid dangerous
situations and prevent criminal confrontations. Seminar participants will be presented with a variety of common‑sense crime prevention
and personal safety strategies and devices that may be integrated into their personal, home, automobile, telephone,
technological, and travel security.
Since 1993, Refuse To Be A Victim has been endorsed by law enforcement members throughout the United States for its positive impact.
With more than 5,000 instructors, seminars have been held in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and other countries.
Concealed Carry in Virginia

We are currently offering the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course to satisfy the state’s training requirements. If you have
not purchased your firearm, we have a number of choices that are available for rent in order to complete the course.
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation
and is available for delivery in two ways. This class is the traditional, instructor-led course where you will receive direct
instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end.
The Instructor-Led Only takes place in a traditional classroom and range environment. This course may be completed in a
single day format or over several days with smaller blocks of instruction.
Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge
and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship,
and shooting range safety. We will also have a substantial section on state law for concealed carry and use of force.
Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the
range with an NRA Certified Instructor.
Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination
and receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.
This certificate is necessary and will be included in your concealed carry application submission.
